Carlo Cassola

is author of fundamental works, like Il taglio del bosco and La ragazza di Bube (winner of the Strega Prize in 1960). In the 50’s, together with Bianciardi, he drove the bibliobus, an itinerant library between the cost and the little mining villages of Maremma.
